Care Act Training

All of our training can now be booked as a face-to-face course (subject to COVID-19 safety measures) and virtually over the Zoom platform.

The aim of the Care Act 2014 is to help improve people’s independence and wellbeing.  When introduced, it heralded the end of other pieces of legislation (some were over 60 years old!) that were used to assess people’s care needs in different circumstances.  It also incorporated adult safeguarding and the threshold for local authority support into one piece of legislation.

As a qualified trainer and Expert Witness, Gary can provide high quality Care Act training to local authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups, care homes and residential schools.

Depending upon your requirements, Gary can provide this training at any level (managers or practitioners) over a half day or full day training.  We don’t provide open courses which enables us to design a bespoke training package to your exact requirements at a venue that suits you. If you prefer, we can adapt this course to be delivered virtually over a live Zoom session.  We charge a fixed fee, so it doesn’t matter whether you have 5 or 20 people that require training.
