Simply Social Work are a team of Community Care, Court of Protection and Education Social Workers and will be pleased to assist you with Independent Social Work reports for Court applications or SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) EHCP appeals and Tribunals.  We have a team of carefully selected experienced Associate Social Workers, a Senior Social Worker and Consultant SocialWorkers who are well placed to meet your mental capacity assessment needs, however big or small.

We are instructed by law firms of various sizes across England and Wales as well as by individuals.  We are trusted by lawyers and families alike to assist with their deputyship applications, litigation and testamentary capacity assessments, and other mental capacity assessments. One of our areas of specialism is Education and undertaking Independent Social Work assessments for families appealing against the contents of their child’s EHCP, or a decision by a local authority not to issues or cease an EHCP.  We are instructed by solicitors and families in their extended appeals that include social care as well as education.  Led by one of our Directors, Gary Crisp, our team of Associate Social Workers and our Senior Social Worker have a wealth of experience in this area.
